I first heard this song about 4 or 5 years ago, and I just fell in love with it. Just that summer, I just like understood the notes by listening the song (I wish I had the music sheet, I play wrong a couple of parts
…) and I still play it…I think this is one of the best and the most sentimental songs of the world…We just started to play this song with my sister, she plays the notes of the violins on the flute 
I really advise you to learn this song, it’s such a joy to play it..

I agree with you though, this is not a happy song, it’s kinda sentimental/sad. It’s a very strong piece though, I like it very much.
This is my favorite piece of piano music – I heard it years ago and have loved it ever since. On a side note, it is believed that the man who invented the piano was named Cristofori.
